This test method is used to determine the wrinkle recovery of woven fabrics. It is applicable to fabrics made from any fiber, or combination of fibers.
A test specimen is folded and compressed under controlled conditions of time and force to create a folded wrinkle. The test specimen is then suspended in a test instrument for a controlled recovery periord, after which the recover angle is recorded.
