This specification describes the properties of low and high-viscosity, electrically insulating, pipe filling liquids for use with impregnated paper and impregnated laminated paper polypropylene (LPP) insulated high-pressure pipe-type cable.
For purposes of this specification, the term "low-viscosity" refers to liquids having a viscosity of 31.9 centistokes (cSt) (150 Saybolt Universal Seconds (SUS)) or less at 37.8°C (100°F). The term "high-viscosity" refers to liquids having a viscosity of 108 to 134 cSt (500 to 620 SUS) at 37.8°C (100°F).
