This standard establishessafety requirements pertaining to concreteconstruction and masonry work inconstruction. The requirements contained inthis standard cover all on-site concreteconstruction and masonry work includingdesign, erection, operation and maintenanceof aggregate processing plants,concrete mixing plants and conveyances. Italso contains safety requirements pertinentto the specialty concrete operations ofprestressing by pretensioning or posttensioning,lift-slab construction, tilt-upconstruction and slipforms.
