This Standard is to be used in conjunction withthe AWPA Standards C1 All Timber Products-Preservative Treatment by Pressure Processes, C2Lumber, Timbers, Bridge Ties and Mine Ties-Preservative Treatment by Pressure Processes, andM2 Standard for Inspection of Treated TimberProducts. AWPA Standards C1, C2 and M2 are herebymade a part of this Standard.
Structural Composite Lumber (SCL) is afamily of engineered wood products that combine woodfiber with exterior-type adhesives to form lumberproducts of virtually any cross-sectional size. The woodfiber may be in the form of veneers, strands, or acombination thereof, bonded together with wet-usestructural adhesives. Materials which do not conform tothe definitions below are beyond the scope of thisstandard.
