This Standard specifies a method for the laboratoryevaluation of treated or untreated cellulosic material for itsresistance to subterranean termites. As described below, eithera single choice (also referred to as a "no choice") test and/or atwo choice test procedure can be used for each material to betested. Since specific information can be gained from each test,it is recommended that both tests be run. The main objective ofthe method is to be a screening test for treated material andfurther evaluation by field methods is required.
