$10.00$20.00

Scope: This method is a screening test to determine theminimum amount of preservative that is effective inpreventing decay of selected species of wood by selectedfungi under optimum laboratory conditions. Preservativethresholds obtained using this procedure provide anindication of retentions to be used in above-ground fieldtests; retentions to include in ground-contact field testswould be greater (e.g., 1.5 to 2.0 times) than those obtainedin soil block tests. This test method is intended to be ascreening test. It may also be used to provide information forstandardization of protection treatments.
