This slide presentation provides the distribution water quality results of the City of San Francisco after 3 years of chloramination. The goals of chloramination included: consistent compliance with current and future disinfection byproduct (DBP) regulations as far aseliminating DBP peaks,lowering DBP averages, andbetter control of DBPs in drought years for imported water; and,better disinfection residual management byusing 17 chlorine booster stations in San Francisco. Statistics are provided for: disinfectant/levels; disinfection byproducts; corrosion; and, microbial indicators/nitrification. Customer issues with health issues are outlined.
