To justify the cost ofhosting the Niagara Children's Water Festival, a survey was conducted to address the following questions:are the children retaining what they learned;what are their water use habits and attitudes; and,are they telling their families about what they learned? Information regarding the survey is provided and is translated into determining the value of the festival. Potential water savings statistics are given along with benefits of the festival that include: increased public awareness of water conservation;increased job satisfaction for government and industryemployees volunteering at the festival; and, promotion of water industry to high school volunteers.
