This powerpoint presentation begins by presenting a brief overview of the optimization of the city of Westminster (Colorado) water resources, in particular its reclaimed system. Reclaimed system expansion options are presented, along with selecting the best alternative, and cost/benefit analysis results. The selected alternative included:raw water supplied directly to reclaimed system;expansion of reclaimed treatment plant; and, surface storage of reclaimed water. Presentation conclusions indicate that: alternative selectionincluded both benefits and costs, allowed for sensitivity analysis, allowed for wide participation in the process, anddefined the optimized result; and, optimization of the city's water resources ultimatelyleveraged both storage and raw water in thereclaimed system. Includes tables, figures.
