The organizational structure for the new Seymour-Capilano Filtration Plant at the Metro Vancouver Water Treatment System is presented, and represents: a new plant built with highly automated, less-attended design philosophy; an opportunity to standardize job duties and flatten structure to simplify shift schedule; and, offers benefits for staff including flexibility, variety, opportunities for advancement and time for training.
