This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and SewerAuthority (PRASA), and the Non-Revenue Water Reduction Program(NRWRP). PRASA's goal is to reduce the non-revenue water(NRW) from 60% to approximately 25% by 2018. Agency-wide objectives of NRWRP include:commercial offices - restructure the customer servicedepartment to be more efficient and provide a betterrate of return; operations - replace broken and old meters, andimplement a regular meter replacement program; and, infrastructure - reduce capital investments by avoidingthe need for new or expanded production facilities.
