This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the city of Port St. Lucie and the Port St. Lucie Utility Systems Department and water facilities. Service area growth and future water supplies are presented. To address challenges posed inthe existing water supply andtreatment, the City selectedreverse osmosis (RO) treatment ofbrackish water from theFloridan Aquifer. The presentation presents the incorporation of two RO treatment facilities: Prineville Reverse OsmosisWater Treatment Plant, initial WTP construction and the expansion to 10 MGD; and, the James E.
