Prediction equations for natural organic matter (NOM) rejection were formulated using influential parameters, including SUVA and f/k ratio, which have been found to be influential in the aspects of NOM rejection and operating conditions, respectively. Attempts were made to formulate correlation relationships between an adorption resistance (Ra) and an interfacial membrane concentration (Cm), and between an adsorbed NOM amount (mg C/cm2) and an adsorption resistance (Ra).
