  • PipelineNet: An Extended Period Simulation Hydraulic Model for Distribution System Emergency Response
  • Conference Proceeding by American Water Works Association, 10/01/2003
  • Publisher: AWWA

$12.00$24.00

PipelineNet simulates the fate and transport of potentially introduced contaminants in waterdistribution systems, particularly as related to use and application in an emergency responsesituation. The PipelineNet model allows a user to model the flow and concentration of abiological or chemical agent within a municipal water system. This model assesses the effects ofwater treatment on the agent and models the flow and concentration of an agent through thewater distribution system within a municipality and calculates the population and infrastructure(e.g. hospitals, schools, etc.) at risk. Includes 3 references, figures.
