Model development and calibration is presented and covers the following topics: physical model; demand allocation;field testing;operational controls; and,EPS Calibration. Information on IDSE Compliance is provided, along with the development of a Capital Improvements Plan. Lessons learned include the following:verify/survey tank elevations;recognize deficiencies in wholesale customerdata;small tanks are difficult to calibrate;check water ages at all tanks to ensurerepeating patterns;demand allocation to all non-facility nodes isimportant in water age modeling;maximize existing infrastructure in CIP Planning; and, the model can be used for a variety of applications.
