This poster paper presents a study to increase the effectiveness of field data for distributionsystem model calibration. Topics presented include: model development using an agency's GIS database, and demands are allocated using geo-coding methods from detailed billing records; challenge of 5 psi within the margin of error from multiple sources such as pressure gauge or flow calculation; calibration process; planning stage; and, conclusions.
