CDM has developed software applications for a number of water and wastewater agencies to facilitate the collection and management of asset inventory and assessment data. This paper highlights key elements of such an application, developed in partnership with CH2M HILL, for the New York Department of Environmental Protection's (NYCDEP) North River Water Pollution Control Plant. The software served to ensure consistent data collection during the facility inspection process, and provided a flexible, open database to support analysis and reporting throughout the project.
