In this paper, G curves, relating velocity gradient to impeller rpm, were prepared for five small-scale geometries of impeller and vessel. Power curves for these geometries were also evaluated. All curves compared favorably with curves found in the literature. An example is presented to show how full-scale velocity gradients can be evaluated on the basis of optimal laboratory values. Includes 8 references, table, figures.
