A joint venture by the area homebuilders association and the water and natural gas and electricity utilities for the purpose of constructing an ideal water and energy-conserving home resulted in the creation of a new kind of builders' program. By combining the key words economy, H20, and energy the ECH20NERGY name was born for the Denver, Colorado program.
