This slide presentation outlines an effort at Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL), United Kingdom, to implement an enterprise asset performance management system. Specific objectives included: monitor and compare performance of assets to drive performanceimprovements and optimize investment decisions;capture and analyze asset and process level data from disparatesources in a timely manner, identify trends, and carry out forwardanalysis to enable proactive asset management; and, make validated corporate (business and process level) dataaccessible to support efficient production of managementinformation and regulatory reports. Key stands that were addressed included:comparability (evaluation and selection);evangelism (getting corporate consensus and incorporation into dayto day business);implementing and configuration of NWL's Performance Managementsolution; and,training and motivating the end users within NWL.
