This powerpoint presentation begins by providing background information on the Regional Municipality of Peel and the Water Smart Peel water efficiency program, that has the following goals for water efficiency: to reduce AADD and Peak DayDemand by up to 10% by 2015; and,to reach these goals throughdevelopment,implementation,monitoring, andeducation. Reasons for doing a water efficiency program (WEP) are listed, along with WEPs for different water sectors such as residential, industrial, commercial and institutional, and system leak detection analysis.
