The overall objectives of this work were to evaluate summary statistics and frequency distributions forlead and copper level data from regulatory monitoring data collected at four utilities: the PhiladelphiaWater Department, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PWD); the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, Detroit, Michigan(DWSD), the Fort Worth Water Department, Fort Worth, Texas (Fort Worth); and, the Portland WaterBureau, Portland, Oregon (PWB). These utilities have collected regulatory compliance samples for over 10years using the protocol required in the Lead and Copper Rule (LCR). In addition, alternative home tapmonitoring data collected at PWD and DWSD as part of the AwwaRF project entitled Lead and CopperPost-Optimization Alternative Monitoring Strategies was evaluated. Comparisons of statisticalparameters, changes in frequency distributions, and the occurrence of high lead levels over time as theseutilities implemented corrosion control treatment are presented and discussed. Includes reference, tables, figures.
