This slide presentation outlines a project to examine water quality in two subbasins managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. Project goals included: monitoring for a suite of water quality parameters includingphysical, chemical, biological and microbial source tracking; statistical analysis includingcorrelation analysis of relationships among waterquality parameters; and, analysis of variance of differences in water quality between sites and seasons. Overall goals includeddetermining sources of contamination andsuggesting parameters for routine monitoring. Two case studies are presented that discuss microbial parameters, seasonal differences, correlation analyses, and analysis of variance.
