This slide presentation outlines a study to determine virus rejection when using low pressure membranes such as microfiltration (MF) and ultrafiltration (UF). Characteristics of both membrane types are given, along with a microsphere/bacteriophagematrix, stirred-cell tests, parameters that exhibited the greatest effects onmembrane performance (log removals) when themembrane is uncompromised; and, predictive modelingapproaches evaluated for MF that includedlinear regression, parametric and nonparametric methods. Includes tables, figures.
