This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of four treatment plants of the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) that are capable of producing 890 mgd. Water sources for the treatment plants are listed, along with NTMWD's Water Conservation and Drought Contingency Plan, and information on drought conditions and decreasing lake storage in the area. Raw water quality, increase in total organic carbon and disinfection byproducts, process evaluation, chlorine dioxide decision, bench testing, and equipment evaluation are all presented.
