This paper discusses the results of a fast-track pilot program initiated in the Spring 2006 andcompleted in February 2007. The primary components of this project included identificationof baseline water quality parameters, development and installation of on-line monitoringstations for collecting data from the water distribution system, and the integration of relevantdata from a variety of data sources using a data fusion application. Additional efforts werealso taken to improve the customer complaints tracking system, one of the City's primarysources of information about the water in its distribution system. This paper also covers theresults of the data integration and analysis issues related to the implementation of additionaldistribution system monitoring stations. Includes figures.
