The objectives of this project were to develop a systematic sampling approach that willresult in at least 95% confidence that an average Atrazine and Total Chloro-Triazine (TCT) concentration measured in the watershedthat is below the MCL does not come from a population that, in reality, exceeds the MCL(or in the case of TCT, the level of concern). Achieving this end will ensure that thesampling plan is adequate to meet the objectives of the rule and the established MCL. Ifthe MCL and the level of the concern are properly established, a sampling plan with thesecharacteristics will protect public health. Includes 5 references, tables, figures.
