In this study, the feasibility of using powdered activated carbon (PAC), granular activatedcarbon (GAC), and different resins to remove perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoate (PFOA) from water was investigated. Thesorption behaviors including sorption kinetics, isotherms, effects of solution pH and temperaturewere studied in detail, and the possible sorption mechanisms are discussed. Includes extended abstract only.
