This slide presentation outlines a project to assist the regionaljurisdictions and water utilities to effectively coordinate theirefforts in an emergency, and to facilitate the sharing ofresources and expertise in planning for such emergencies,building on:emergency response plans (ERPs) that have been developed inthe last two years by every public water supplier;on ERPs that have been developed by the local governmentjurisdictions;and, on previous regional planning efforts, such as the COG 2005Water Supply Emergency Response Plan. The presentation outlines the scope of the project that consists of two tasks. Task 1 focuses on Emergency Response Plans for:potable water;fire suppression;hospital emergency water supply; and,sanitation.Task 2 focused on Best Management Practices, including:BMP Forum; and, Mutual Aid.
