This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of explosives and the threat they present to water tanks, towers and buried reservoirs. Information is provided on training and distribution. Conclusions included the following:cooperation between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and the Corps of Engineers resulted in auseful PC-based tool that allows initial evaluation of the risks of blastdamage to water infrastructure;model is an adaptation of Army's AT Planner (AT = Anti-terrorism) for allstructures;work is under way to update model to include under ground storagetanks; and,further training is pending a source of funding.
