This document identifies the general requirements for Distributors that supply Commercial and Military products. Now updated to provide clarification, these requirements apply to all discrete semiconductors, integrated circuits and hybrids, whether packaged or in wafer/die form, manufactured by all component Manufacturers. This revision was incorporated to better define the requirements for the handling of moisture-sensitive devices in distribution. The addition of IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020 and IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 ensure consistent requirements throughout the distribution channel.
