Rotational molding is a relatively simple process used for making a wide variety of parts. New markets for rotationally molded parts have placed tighter specifications on performance properties and color requirements. In this presentation, we will define the challenges in producing color for rotational molding as well as discuss options for minimizing these difficulties. Various pigments will be discussed explaining their advantages and disadvantages and what that means as far as color and performance options are concerned. There will be some discussion of other additives and how they affect color and performance.
