Aalborg University, Denmark, was established in 1974 based on a pedagogical concept revolving around project-based teaching and cooperative learning. Today, nearly 25 years after the establishment the whole engineering curriculum, it is extensively project-based with project work counting for approximately 50% of the credit hours. Having fully implemented the project-based learning environment the focus has shifted towards quality improvements. This paper presents experience from establishing such continuous improvement approaches.
