THEN THE RESULT IS EXTENDED TO THE PROBLEM OF SCHEDULING A PRODUCTION LINE WITH m>3 WORKSTATIONS AND AN OPTIMAL SCHEDULE IS DEVELOPED. THIS STUDY PROVIDED VALUABLE INSIGHTS FOR THE DESIGN AND SCHEDULINE OF PRODUCTION SYSTEMS USING SIMILAR MATERIAL HANDLING MECHANISMS.
