This method provides procedures for determination of sulfide, sulfite, sulfate, thiosulfate, chloride, andcarbonate in white, green, and black liquors and in solidified smelt. In addition, procedures for determining oxalate, lactate, formate, acetate, and propionate in black liquor are provided.
Concentrations determined by this method are in the mg/L (ppm) range. Liquors containing higher anionconcentrations are diluted to the mg/L level before analysis.
